Module 2 – Observing the System Closely

Welcome to the ACLP Module 2 where the leadership journey continues.

In the second module, participants are going to practice a deep observation of challenges and opportunities within the context of land use and climate change through the lens of systems thinking. The programme will also bring in various perspectives from private sector, high-level policymaker, and civil society about the discourse of mainstreaming climate-smart practices, including learning from a distinguished guest speakers whose works have been an inspiration to many of us in the region. Further, participants will have a chance to practice some of your leadership skills such as listening, to instantiating conversations, generating and pitching ideas and providing feedback.

ACLP 2021

The ACLP is designed as a contribution to the work of the ASEAN Climate Resilience Network (ASEAN-CRN). This year’s guiding theme is  Promoting Climate-Smart Land Use for Implementing Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

The ACLP is being supported by the Climate Smart Land Use in ASEAN (CSLU) project, which receives funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in close cooperation with the ASEAN Secretariat. It is being  organised in collaboration with the Southeast Asian Regional Centre for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) and will be facilitated by experienced coaches specialised in leadership and change theory.
